Minimally invasive management of malignant vertebral compression fractures

Pain caused by vertebral compression fractures due to malignant disease can be difficult to treat satisfactorily. In this case series of 30 patients, the investigators report that percutaneous verterbroplasty with injection of bone cement into the fractured vertebral body is both effective and safe.
