Acute oliguric renal failure and haemolytic anaemia following infectious mononucleosis
A 19-year-old man was admitted to hospital due to fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain and faint. He was pale and icteric, awake with sufficient respiration and circulation. The treatment comprised intermittent haemodialysis, plasmapheresis and heating. He recovered completely after two months.
