Low awareness of the Charles Bonnet syndrome in patients attending a retinal clinic

INTRODUCTION Visually impaired patients may experience visual hallucinations due to the Charles Bonnet syndrome (CBS). While benign in nature, these hallucinations may cause distress in those unfamiliar with the phenomenon.
